In Aboriginal slang, ‘deadly’ means ‘awesome’. There could be no more fitting description for the fourteen female artists in our new exhibition with Warmun Art Centre. Every one of them comes from strong family lines of Aboriginal art legends; not just of the East Kimberley but of their generation.
