Camp Dog

Spending more time at home? Perfect time to get a dog!

Each dog represents a real animal from the Yuendumu region and are made in collaboration with the Alice Springs prison. They are then hand painted with love by artists at Warlukurlangu.

This is 'Danny': Danny is a Dingo, as a baby he was found in Borroloola, he had a severe injury to his right eye.  He was taken to Darwin and then he came to live in Yuendumu where his eye healed thanks to several operations by our visiting vet. He is a happy boy that enjoys being free in the community.

We have found them to be perfect presents for dog lovers, at home or abroad, they are small and light to pack.

*The term "camp dogs" is used to describe the often motley groups of dogs found in and around Aboriginal communities across Australia.
